Warranty Terms and Conditions


These Terms and Conditions are the standard terms for the sale of goods by Better Home Living Concepts Limited, trading as UK Pilates Reformers, a private limited company registered in England under number 14498797, whose registered address is Unit 1 Finns Business Park Bowenhurst Lane, Crondall, Farnham, Surrey, England, GU10 5RP. UK Pilates Reformers warrants its equipment to be free from defects in material or poor-quality manufacture for the periods specified below.


Equipment Covered

Pilates reformers, cadillacs, barrels, chairs, wall towers, spine correctors and gyrotonic equipment.


Warranty Duration

  • 3 Years: Frame
  • 1 Year: Wheels, Tracks, Springs, Pulleys and Other Mechanical Components
  • 90 Days: Upholstered Components, Ropes, Straps and Loops

Conditions of Warranty

All warranties apply from the date the equipment is delivered to the customer and supported with evidence of an invoice and signed delivery note. The warranty includes parts only and does not include labour costs associated with replacing such parts. Engineers travel and onsite labour, if required, are chargeable. All parts must be purchased from UK Pilates Reformers, failing which, all equipment warranty including frame warranty will be void. The warranty is given only to its initial purchaser at the address of delivery and terminates on its physical or ownership transfer unless authorised by UK Pilates Reformers. In all cases UK Pilates Reformers has the sole responsibility for determining the cause and nature of a fault. UK Pilates Reformers’ determination is final. UK Pilates Reformers reserve the right to either repair, replace or refund the price of any defective part under this warranty. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the parts to be fitted at their expense. This warranty shall be void if the failure or defect was attributed to any extrinsic cause, accidental damage, improper use, modification, adaptation, neglect, wear and tear and improper installation.


Execution

The customer must report any damage to the equipment at the time of delivery. A UK Pilates Reformers representative will diagnose any reported fault over the telephone and may suggest several possible solutions for the customer to attempt. UK Pilates Reformers will provide replacements for faulty parts once diagnosis has been carried out (where possible) and photographic or video evidence of the fault has been sent to UK Pilates Reformers. To order replacement part/s, the original purchaser must contact UK Pilates Reformers at sales@uk-pilatesreformers.co.uk or 0800 222 9 333. Once payment is made for the replacement part/s then a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) Number will be issued. To receive warranty credit, the faulty part must be returned to UK Pilates Reformers with shipping prepaid and accompanied by a packing list or tag bearing the RMA number and the customer name. Once the faulty part is received by UK Pilates Reformers, credit will be promptly issued.


Exclusions

This cover does not extend to damage caused by improper care, improper installation, improper operation, negligence, lack of maintenance, imperfections that are within design specifications or that do not materially alter functionality, normal wear and tear or the fading of colours and materials, whether caused by the natural effects of UV light over an extended period and or the misuse of chemicals. All warranties hereunder are void if the equipment has been subject to modifications not authorised by UK Pilates Reformers. This warranty will become void if any of the following are evident; Unauthorised attempts to repair the equipment, incorrect use of the equipment, leaving the equipment outdoors for any duration, customised or modified in any way, abuse, chemical damage including but not limited to use of abrasive or unsuitable surface cleaners or any defects resulting from not maintaining or correctly operating the equipment. This warranty applies only to brand new equipment, those that are purchased second hand are not covered by this warranty. UK Pilates Reformers has the right to void any warranty given if the goods are used for anything other than normal purposes. Warranty claims are and will only be up to the value the UK Pilates Reformers was purchased at (pricing excludes price paid for delivery and any optional extras).


Disclaimer

UK Pilates Reformers will not be liable for loss of use of the equipment, or any incidental expenses incurred because of the repair or replacement of the equipment. In the event UK Pilates Reformers considers it necessary to remove the equipment to a place of repair or that the equipment or frame be replaced, any costs of the equipment removal and/or structural removal, alteration and/or replacement or other costs of providing access to the equipment will be the customer responsibility. Any repairs or replacement parts fitted or supplied during the warranty period shall assume as its warranty only the remaining portion of the warranty on the original product. Strictly manufacturing faults and defects only. Travel and labour are not included, and these costs are to be met by the customer.


Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may from time to time change these terms and conditions without giving notice, but we will use our reasonable endeavours to inform you of any change as soon as is reasonably possible.


Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and the relationship between UK Pilates Reformers and you which shall be governed and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
